Model Context Protocol server

Lattice

A read-only cybersecurity knowledge graph for AI agents. Look up a CVE or an ATT&CK technique and follow the links to weaknesses, detection rules and response procedures. Every link states which source said it, or that it was inferred, so an agent can say “likely” instead of “is”.

Show the work

Every answer comes with its query plan and its evidence

Open the query plan to see each graph call and model call and how long it took. Open the evidence pane to see the exact nodes the answer rests on, why each one is there and how many hops it sits from the question.

The query plan for CVE-2021-44228 with four graph calls, a code step, one model call and a check of the answer
Query plan. Every graph call, code step and model call with its time. The facts are worked out in code; the model call shows its tokens; the answer is then checked against the evidence.
The evidence pane with the nodes behind the answer, why each is there, and the graph path to the techniques
Evidence pane. Each node with its kind, why it is there and its hop, the share of cited ids verified, and the graph path from the CVE through the weakness to the techniques.

What it gives an agent

Reference answers an agent can cite

Look up and follow links

Find a CVE, technique, weakness or threat group by its id, then walk to the techniques, detections and procedures connected to it.

Provenance on every link

Each link is declared by a named source or inferred, and inferred links carry a confidence figure that ranks guesses against each other.

Honest about gaps

A step with no data, or from a source that is not published, is reported as a gap rather than filled in from memory.

Licence notices included

Responses can return the licence and attribution requirements of the sources they used.

Connect your client

Endpoint: https://lattice.namiq.io/mcp over streamable HTTP. Send your key in the X-API-Key header. initialize and tools/list work without a key, so you can see the tools before you sign up.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http lattice https://lattice.namiq.io/mcp --header "X-API-Key: YOUR_KEY"

Claude Desktop, Cursor and other JSON clients

      "type": "http",

      "headers": { "X-API-Key": "YOUR_KEY" }
    }
  }
}

claude.ai custom connector

  1. Open Customize › Connectors › Add custom connector.
  2. Server URL: https://lattice.namiq.io/mcp.
  3. Authentication: No sign-in.
  4. Under Request headers add x-api-key with your key.

Request headers is a beta feature that only some organisations have so far. If the dialog does not show it, claude.ai cannot send the key: use Claude Code, a JSON client config or the API instead. Authentication settings cannot be changed afterwards; to change the key, remove the connector and add it again.

Check the connection

curl -s https://lattice.namiq.io/mcp \
  -H "X-API-Key: YOUR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Accept: application/json, text/event-stream" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'

Tools

ToolWhat it does
graph_lookup(id, label?)Find nodes by exact external id, such as CVE-2021-44228 or T1059.001.
graph_search(id_prefix, label?, limit?, cursor?)List ids that start with a prefix. Ids only, not free text; page with cursor.
graph_node(uid)One node's properties.
graph_neighbors(uid, direction?, verb?, label?, limit?, cursor?)Directly connected nodes with each link's verb, source and whether it is declared or inferred.
graph_path(template, id, label?)A fixed multi-hop question from an external id.
graph_notices(ids?)Licence notices and attribution for the sources used.
graph_meta()Snapshot id, labels, verbs, sources and path templates.

Path templates

cve-to-defense (techniques a CVE enables, then detections and procedures), cve-context, technique-coverage, weakness-chain, actor-ttps.

Lattice Analyst

The Lattice Analyst is a chat for SOC specialists built on the same graph. Facts, verdicts and structure are written in code from the graph; a small local language model only words the explanation. It runs on a local model, with no external AI service. Each answer shows its query plan (every graph call and model call with its time) and an evidence panel, and a person always decides.

The Lattice Analyst landing page with recipe buttons and the zero-day and ransomware watch lists
Landing. Recipes by activity, and watch lists of newly exploited and ransomware-linked CVEs.
First-response analysis of CVE-2021-44228 with a verdict line and a query plan
Ask about a CVE. The verdict line is written from the record in code; the model explains in plain words. The query plan shows 4 graph calls and 1 model call.
Alert triage verdict Contain now with reasons and the techniques the text shows
Triage an alert. Paste an alert and get a verdict by written rules, the evidence behind it and what to check next. No model is used for the verdict.
A Sigma detection rule draft with a Copy button
Draft a detection rule. A Sigma draft from a reviewed template, labelled as a draft, with its false positives.

Screenshots were recorded from the live service with synthetic input.
